There may come a point in your life when you figure out that you just aren’t happy. There are many reasons why you might be feeling this way, and the reasons for unhappiness can be multiple. Some people realize they have a poor marriage, while others feel that they aren’t making the most of their life. For many, this unhappiness stems from not loving what they do each day, and they may feel it is time for a career change. It used to be that you got a job, and stayed with the same company for most of your life. This is uncommon today, and the numbers of people who try a career change are rising.

It can be scary to give up the security of what you do now, and many people let this stop them from moving ahead. If you are having problems, talk to your family and ask them for support. Those who love you will want you to be happy, and will do everything they can to support your career change.

There are more and more people doing this, and you may be surprised to find a lot of people within your age bracket that are back in school and learning how to study all over again. If you aren’t happy, and you want a career change, nothing else is going to help you. You only live once, so give it a lot of thought, and if you have to do it, go for it.
