Presented in Tom McCall Waterfront Park, the Village offers more than 500 hours of classic family-style entertainment, a variety of food menus presented in courtyard settings, and thrilling rides for the kid in everyone. This year the Village features our Pirates Rendezvous, Tall Ships, fun-loving strolling minstrels and the Pacific Northwest’s finest, cleanest,family-friendliest carnival,three food courts offering menu items from around the world, and exciting educational exhibits for a classic American celebration.
Kids Activities & Interactive Exhibits include funtastic Traveling Shows offers a superior carnival experience that features Kiddie Land rides for small tykes, intermediate rides for the whole family and the crazy over the top super-spectaculars for whose seeking a real thrill. Other featured kids activities include the very popular Family Fun Stage with crazy clowns, fire tossin’ jugglers, mystical magicians and kooky cowboys. There are lots of animals in our petting zoo and there are pony rides too. The little guys and girls will love the bungee jump and rock wall, and Hot Shot’s Big Sling is back for the brave at heart. You won’t want to miss the wildly popular Pirate’s Parrot Show and Toucan’s Wild Side Exotic Animals. Along the scenic Willamette River’s esplanade seawall they’ll have two tall sailing ships (the Hawaiian Chieftain and the Lady Washington of “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie fame.
There will be Six stages presenting from eclectic and free spirited music to gospel and marimba, Latin to Cajun, and steel drums to Dixieland jazz.
There will also be three food courtyards featuring international menus from around the world .Don't miss the chance to shop and sample from the many exhibitors that will be showcasing their special products.
