Seattle-based Feriante is a Segovia-trained guitar artist who brings his sensual, contemporary sound to an otherwise traditional genre. His creative blend of classical, flamenco, and Brazilian styles speak to people from all walks of life. Eric Fridrich brings a sense of versatility and awareness to his singer/songwriter roots. With touches of rock, jazz, folk, blues and latin, Eric Fridrich delivers a sound rich in pop hooks, jazz tags and blues turnarounds. This Chicago native adds the spices and influences of such artists as Sting, Neil Young, Sinatra, B.B King, James Brown, James Taylor, Santana and Stevie Wonder just to name a few. These two passionate painters of sound have become allies in the quest to make their music both beautiful and meaningful thus offering it to the world in hopes of opening hearts. They have been putting on performances together, most recently at Benaroya Hall of Seattle. The show was received with great enthusiasm and ended with a long standing ovation. Eric and Andre wish to bring their best performance to Portland at the Old Church.
