July 22
Amelia
At turns earthy and ethereal, the Portland trio boasts their own mesmerizing brand of pop dosed with traces of twang and jazzy undercurrents. Amelia’s appearance at the Garden follows the recent release of their long-awaited new CD, “A Long, Lovely List of Repairs.” Sophisticated pop for grown-ups.

July 29
Darrell Grant and One O’clock Jump
Once upon a time in a place called Harlem, jazz was thrivin’ from a riff, hips were shakin’ and the rent party was going all night long. Piano was the king of instruments, and the rulers went by names like Basie, Ellington, Garner, Tatum, Wilson, and Ahmad Jamal. Grant’s piano trio revives the sound of an era in all its irrepressible glory.

August 5
Vagabond Opera
Can this much fun be legal? Equal parts theater and music, this intoxicating sextet sings, dances, and generally transports audiences to a Bohemian world of Left Bank nightclubs, accordions and absinthe. A bouillabaisse of gypsy music, klezmer, and 1930’s Parisian cabaret-style fare.
