The 2008 August Oregon Air Show is one of the largest events in Washington County and is projected to draw more than 65,000 people to to see some of the best in aviation from all over the United States and Canada.

This outstanding community event is one of the largest events in Washington County and draws an average of 65,000 people to Hillsboro each summer to see some of the best in aviation from all over the United States and Canada. Events are planned “around the family” all weekend long! Performers arrive early to spend time with our community and make special appearances to community organizations and non profits such as Boys/Girls Club, Athletic Clubs, Service Clubs, Hospitals and local area schools.
Kids rate high with the Air Show in more ways than one. Community Kids Day, held during Air Show week, allows families the opportunity to meet performers up close & personal. Kids Day is a free event open to kids of all ages.
Margaret Teufel Day recognizes “special kids” on Sunday of Air Show weekend. Special Needs Kid/Adults are invited as guests of the Air Show. Performers take time with our kids to sign autographs and share stories.
The air show brings family and friends together to salute aviation and honor our heroes!

The U.S. Patriot Jet Team will tease us from the sky and give you a sample of the amazing flying you will see on Saturday and Sunday. The U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Jump Team will kick off the night with an amazing jump that will leave you gasping and cheering for more. Bill Reesman and the Red Bull MiG will bring the sky to life with his amazing night show. ATG and Homeland Fireworks present another year of Oregon’s biggest Pyrotechnic and Fireworks show! This is a year you will not want to miss!
